In addition to a wide range of services in the fields of ophthalmology and optometry, the eye center in Tuchlauben focuses on your well-being, because everyone reacts differently. While some take a visit to the doctor as a matter of course, another patient may be afraid or have concerns. We always take the time for a detailed consultation and explanation of the circumstances, with children we try to playfully assess the state of health of the eyes.

For example, you can choose between different Viennese private hospitals during an operation, whereby we also accompany you during your inpatient stay in addition to your treatment.
If several procedures or methods are possible for your condition, we will explain the individual advantages and disadvantages to you and help you to make a well-considered decision. The health of your eyes is a valuable asset, and we will do our best to support you in maintaining it!

You will find the specialist practice Dr. Fous in a central location in the first district of Vienna. In the Tuchlaubenhof we have set up modern, bright and open rooms for our patients, in which you can feel at ease as soon as you enter. The equipment includes state-of-the-art technical equipment, which not only makes the examination easier for us, but also makes possible diseases recognizable at an early stage and enables treatments at the highest level.
The range of services of the eye center covers not only the field of classic ophthalmology but also aesthetic procedures. In addition to regular check-ups and mother-child passport check-ups, we also carry out driver's license and flight fitness tests in accordance with Austrocontrol guidelines.
We treat you for eye diseases and carry out a wide variety of surgical procedures in accordance with current scientific standards. We have also been successfully carrying out laser eye treatments for many years.

dr Sheila Fous and Dr. Alexander Fous have been practicing ophthalmologists since their medical studies and specialist training at the Augsburg Clinic in Bavaria (graduation in 2008). In addition to many years of experience, the entire practice team constantly participates in further training in order to be able to provide our patients with the best possible treatment.
Modern treatment methods and surgical procedures based on the latest scientific knowledge enable optimal care. You can let yourself fall into our hands with a clear conscience and trust in the best possible care.
We decided on the concept of the private practice, because this way we can take enough time for our patients and examine problems in more depth. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and advise you on submitting the invoices to your health insurance company.
